Creamy Garlic Parmesan Salmon Pasta

This rich and comforting salmon pasta combines perfectly cooked salmon with a creamy garlic parmesan sauce and tender pasta. It's a simple recipe that tastes like a restaurant-quality meal but is easy enough to make at home.

  • Salmon Fillet Portion
  • 225g fettuccine or linguine
  • Salt & black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 250ml double cream
  • 50g freshly grated Parmesan
  • 30g fresh spinach (optional)
  • Fresh parsley
  • Fresh parsley  Squeeze of lemon juice

Cooking Intructions

  • 1. Cook the Pasta Bring a large pan of salted water to the boil. Cook the pasta until al dente according to packet instructions. Reserve 60ml of pasta water, then drain.
  • 2. Cook the Salmon Pat the salmon dry and season with salt and black pepper. Heat the olive oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Cook the salmon for 4–5 minutes on each side until just cooked through.
  • 3. Make the Sauce Using the same pan, reduce the heat slightly. Add the garlic and cook for about 30 seconds. Pour in the double cream and simmer gently for 3–4 minutes. Stir in the Parmesan until smooth and slightly thickened. Add chilli flakes if using. Stir in the spinach and cook until wilted.
  • 4. Combine Everything Add the drained pasta to the frying pan. Add a splash of the reserved pasta water to loosen the sauce. Flake the salmon into large chunks and gently fold into the pasta. Simmer together for 1–2 minutes.
  • 5. Finish Taste and adjust seasoning if needed. Add a squeeze of lemon juice if desired. Serve topped with extra Parmesan and fresh parsley.
