WoolCool Insulation
WoolCool Insulation
We use WooCool® as our insulation partner. Wool is natural, abundant, renewable, compostable and reusable. The insulative performance of wool as a material means that fewer coolant packs are needed, smaller boxes and therefore lighter shipment weights, and as a result, less material and lower CO2 emissions in comparison to alternatives.
100% Pure Wool is a super-smart natural insulator, this is completely compostable, both at home and in an industrial composting facility. Remove the plastic outer and put the wool into your garden/bio waste bin. Our wool is washed, scoured and processed. The wool element of Woolcool is EN 13432 certified, which means it can go into the same waste stream as compostable film and garden waste.
The plastic element protects the internal wool liner. This increases reusability (where applicable) and ensures we are adhering to Food and Pharma safety standards for shipments. We use MDPE and LDPE film, both these elements can be recycled together with your flexible plastic – recyclable code 4.

Our product boxes are cardboard and therefore can be recycled at home with your household card and paper.
Frozen Bags
Frozen Bags
Our Regal Branded bags that contain our frozen products are made using LDPE. LDPE is widely recycled in the UK. It's Plastic number 4 (low-density polyethylene) and can be recycled at collection points at larger supermarkets. If you are unsure, Recycle Now have a great online tool where you can see if you are able to recycle the material at curbside or at larger supermarkets.
Please ensure your bags are cleaned before recycling and any stuck-on labels have been removed.

Fish Trays
Fish Trays
Our blue fish trays are made from Polypropylene (PP, No.5) and can be recycled at most curbside in the UK. However, please check with you local authority as recycling curbside varies in the UK from County to County.
Please ensure the trays are well cleaned and free from any seafood material before recycling. Remove the plastic film and the blue film between fillets and place in general waste as this is too light to be recycled and more
Our fish trays for our portions with butter are made from PETE (No.1) and can be recyled at home widley across the UK. Please check your local authroity guidelines to ensure this is possible where you live.

Vaccum Bags (Courier Delievries)
Vaccum Bags (Courier Delievries)
Unfortunately, our vacuum bags can not be recycled currently in the UK. However, we have reduced the weight of these as low as possible to ensure your products are safe and we reduce the volume of plastic we use each year and send to you. Although plastic is not ideal, it is an important physical barrier to ensure your food remains safe and reduces contamination. This allows us (and you) to reduce food waste and keep carbon footprints lower.
