Product Details
Keep your freezer stocked with a convenient supply of quality white fish with our 1Kg pack of individually frozen Pacific Cod Loins. Sourced from Pacific cod (Gadus Macrocephalus), these loins are skinless and boneless, making them wonderfully straightforward to prepare with no trimming or preparation required.
With their naturally mild flavour and delicate, flaky texture, cod loins are one of the most versatile fish options for everyday cooking. They work beautifully with simple seasoning and a squeeze of lemon, or can be used as the centerpiece of more elaborate dishes. Try them alongside chips and mushy peas for a classic fish supper, bake them with herbs and butter, add them to a creamy sauce, or serve with roasted vegetables for a lighter meal.
Each pack contains approximately 7-10 cod loin portions per kilogram, making it easy to portion meals according to your needs. The loins are individually frozen, so you can take out exactly what you need and keep the remainder stored in the freezer for another meal.
No preparation is needed before cooking. The loins can be cooked directly from frozen, although some natural moisture may be released during cooking, or they can be defrosted beforehand according to your preferred cooking method. Always ensure the fish is thoroughly cooked before serving.
Our Pacific cod is longline caught, and has a protective water glaze to help preserve the quality of the fish during frozen storage.
Store at -18°C or below. Once fully defrosted, do not refreeze.
A freezer-friendly staple that's simple to prepare, versatile enough for countless recipes and ideal for keeping on hand whenever you're looking for a quick and delicious fish meal.
