Product Details

We take immense pride in our artisan smoked fish and the expertise of our smokeries. The techniques used have been refined and passed down through generations of skilled smokers, each imparting their wisdom to the next. Their love for the process and dedication to creating the perfect smoked products are evident in the impeccable quality of our smoked fish.

Our naturally dyed smoked haddock is a testament to this craftsmanship. Its full-bodied, smoky flavour, coupled with a subtle hint of saltiness from the brining process, beautifully complements the inherent sweetness of haddock. This unique taste profile can only be achieved through our time-honoured chimneys, which hold centuries of flavour within their essence.

Our smoked haddock will elevate your fish game and leave a lasting impression. It is the perfect addition to a hearty fish chowder or a comforting pie. Its exceptional flavour will add depth and richness to your dishes, creating a truly memorable dining experience.

Haddock is a beautiful fish for its delicious taste and as a source of protein. It is an ideal choice for those seeking to improve their healthy eating habits. Additionally, haddock contains selenium, a vital antioxidant with numerous health benefits. Moreover, it contains B vitamins that promote normal energy-yielding metabolism and helps reduce tiredness and fatigue.

Sourcing

We source the majority of our haddock from the incredible fisheries in Norway. The haddock is caught wild in small day boats. This means the fish can be processed the same day it is caught, resulting in ultra-fresh products ready for you to cook. Not only are the fisheries sustainable, but the incredible knowledge of the fishermen allows us to offer the best quality fish every time you buy. When you receive your fish, check the label to find out where your fish has been sourced from. Fish is dyed using salt and annatto norbixin.

Our wood chips used in the smoking process are natural and sustainably sourced. Forests are our future and the planet's lungs, so we ensure our smoking wood chips are certified under a European PEFC Wood Sustainability Standard. This results in a unique and magnificent smoked fish product that is kind to our planet.

Although we do our best to remove all the bones, some may remain, so please take care when eating.
